He was predeceased by: his parents, Livain Allain and Germaine Allain (Myers). He is survived by: his children, Kristen Allain of Ontario and Michael Allain of Alberta; his siblings, Charlie, Gary, Jeannette, Lavine, Doreen and Lorie; his niece Jessica Allain; and his close friends, Paul Warren of Black's Harbour, N. B. and Chris Oakley of Saint John, N. B.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins.
