She was predeceased by: her husband Austin James Merrill; her brother-in-law David Stewart; and her parents, Harry On and Jessie Moses On (Ingalls). She is survived by: her children, Patty Merrill of Blacks Harbour, Shelly Merrill-MacKillop (Fred) of St. George, Wade Merrill of Blacks Harbour and Jason Merrill of Deer Island; her siblings, Janice Stewart of Pennfield and Rudy Moses (Barb) of Grand Bay; her brother-in-law Woody Merrill (Ellen) of St. George; her grandchildren, Jessie Golden (Jay) of Back Bay, Frederick, Halle, Alice, Ty and Anna; and her great grandchild Mackenzie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In Karen's memory, donations to the Alzheimer's Society, Charlotte County Cancer or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
