She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Andrew Boyd "Bill" Oliver; her parents, William Ferguson and Edna Ferguson (Davis); her children, Martha Barker (Brian) of Canal, Ivy Steinbring (Donald) of Edmonton, Angus Oliver (Norma Leslie) of St. Stephen and Robert Oliver (Peggy) of Thorsby; her grandchildren, Bryan James Barker (Tabatha), Cheryl Lynn Barker (Nick Porter), Phillip Oliver, Cara Doyle (Tim), Sarah, Scott, Shane, Madeline Steinbring, Robert and Michael Oliver; her siblings, Winnifred Duddy (Frank) of Alberta, Joan Jones of British Columbia and William "Bill" Ferguson (Angie) of Alberta; her son Thomas William Andrew Oliver; and her sisters, Isabel Ferguson and Diana Potopoff. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In Elsie's memory, donations to the Church of Transfiguration or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
