She was predeceased by: her parents, Darwyn Leighton and Elizabeth Leighton (Gilmore). She is survived by: her daughters, Amber Leighton (Brandon Stevens) of Saint John, NB and Aleta Leighton of Truro, NS; her grandchildren, Jayden and Teegan; her brothers, Andrew Leighton of Grand Manan and Jordy Leighton of Grand Manan; and her friends, Phyllis Justason of Beaver Harbour and Danny Justason of Seeley's Cove, NB. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In Ellen's memory, donations to a charity of the donor's would be appreciated by the family.
