She was predeceased by: her spouse Eastman E. Foster; her parents, William McDonald and Myrtle McDonald (Parker); her son Maynard Foster; and her brother Herman McDonald.
She is survived by: her son Dr. Gary Foster; her grandson Christopher Foster (Sharon); her great grandchildren, Jamie Foster (Ryan Buchanan) and Nicole Foster; her great great grandchild Kyler Buchanan; and her siblings, Roy McDonald, Lillian Guiggey, Betty Porter, Frances Merrill, June Yerxa (Phillip) and Caroline Lively (Patrick). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In Bertha's memory, donations to the Blacks Harbour Wesleyan Church would be appreciated by the family.
