He was predeceased by: his parents, Duncan MacDonald and Georgina MacDonald (Jardine); and his siblings, Lila, Eldon, Ben, Lee and Henry.
He is survived by: his wife Bernadette MacDonald (Brennan); his daughters, Debbie Martin (Robert) of Miramichi, Beverly Hogan (Dana) of Gray Rapids, Vickie Dignam (Jeff) and Aimee Olsen (Michael) of Miramichi; his grandchildren, Matthew (Karen), Danny, Kayla (Ryan), Jordan (Bridget), Dylan, Skylar (Samantha) and Devon; his great grandchildren, Marshall, Paige, Piper, Carter and Brynlee; and his brother Perley MacDonald (Del) of Medicine Hat, AB. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Diabetes Canada, Alzheimer Society of NB, or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
