He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Somers and Ida Somers (Hamilton); and his siblings, Edna Kingston, Kathleen Mather, Doreen Smith, Pauline Somers, Blanche Hubbard, Mark Somers, Donald Somers, Frank Somers, Lloyd Somers and Bernie Somers.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Somers (MacColl); his children, Rev. Cory Somers (Sandra) of Summerside, PE and Deanna Estey (Jonathan) of St. Margarets, NB; his grandchildren, Nathan Estey (Shannon), Katelyn Estey, Brayden Estey, Maggy Somers, Emma Somers, Jack Somers, Will Somers, Jenny Somers and Luke Somers; his great grandchild Elliot Estey; his siblings, Shirley Haars of Miramichi and Harold Somers (Sandra) of Miramichi; his siblings-in-law, Judy Somers, Ruth Thompson (Billy), Sterling Mather and Byron MacColl; and his aunts, Gladys Savage and Nita Somers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
