He was predeceased by: his father James Stewart; and his parents-in-law, Chester and Joyce Pettigrew. He is survived by: his mother Jean Stewart (Hamilton); his wife Sherry Stewart (Pettigrew); his children, Timothy (Dana), Katrina (Josh) and Amanda (Evan); his grandchildren, Nora, Hope, John, Mimiges, Larry, Gavin and Cole; his brothers, Charles (Joyce) and Troy; his sister-in-law Shelly; his nieces, Cortney and Amelia; his nephew Jayden; his aunts, Patsy Brown, Joyce Nichol, Dorothy Stewart, Barb Stewart, Eva Stewart and Katherine Marcoux (Gilbert); and his uncle Robert Ault (Bernice).
