He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hickey and Opal Hickey (Godin); his siblings, Connie, Clary, Victor, Herman and Earl; and his grandson Jonathan.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shelley Hickey of Ottawa, Lana Hickey of Bathurst, Bonnie Hickey of Oakville, ON., Stacy Hickey of Burlington, ON. and Penny Hickey (Keith) of Archibald; and his siblings, Brendon, Terry, Claude, Gordon, Vera, Joan, Beatrice, Effie, Jeannie, Muriel, Hilda and Marilyn. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
