She was predeceased by: her parents, James Macpherson and Wanda Macpherson; her daughter Deborah Lavigne; and her sister Orva (Terry). She is survived by: her husband Daniel; her daughter Angela Lavigne of Dalhousie; her grandchildren, Chantale Lapointe (Daniel), Justin Durette, Cassidy Wady and Hannah Wady; her great grandchild Leila; her siblings, Jim (Flo), Harvey (Diane), Lorne (Karen), Sally and David (Sherry); and her pet Mouskie. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
