He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Pitre and Pearl Pitre (Daigle); and his siblings, Manuel, Genevieve Daigle, Kathleen Lapointe and Ralph.

He is survived by: his wife Jeannette Pitre; his daughter Collette Pitre (John Steeves) of Campbellton; his grandchildren, Amy, Samantha, Martin and Kayla; his great grandchildren, Lea, Kayleigh, Eathan and Elsa; and his brother Norman (Sandra).
