He was predeceased by: his parents, Holton Hickey and Julia Hickey (Guitard); his close friend Merilda; and his siblings, Clarence, Marvin, Eldon, Patrick, Myrtle, Barbara, Dorcas, Audrey and Charlotte.
He is survived by: his children, Gary (Thelma), Joyce (Joe), Sandra (Eddy), Brian (Diane) and Kevin (Allison) of Jacquet River; and his brother Malcom. He is also survived by his grand children; great grand children and many nieces and nephews.
