He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Moriarty and Melvina Moriarty (Hickey); and his son David. He is survived by: his wife Veronica; his children, Claudia Jones (Michael), Jane Breton (Luc), Donnie Moriarty (Linda) and Dean Moriarty (Tanya); his siblings, Verna Driscoll (Ken), Merlin Moriarty (Evelina), Evelyn Lapointe, Joyce Poirier, Victor Moriarty (Glenda) and Allan Moriarty; his grandchildren, Blaine, Amber, Peris, Sierra, David, Jeannine, Melissa, Kathleen, Alyson, Gregory, Evan, Nathan, Emma and Lily; and his great grandchildren, Matthew, Fynn, Dean, Amy and Hudson.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a service will be held at a later date.
