She was predeceased by: her parents, Millen Trites and Irene Trites (Cole); her sister Emma McTavish; her nephews, Kristopher Kinden and Marc Hurley; and her niece Tracey Steeves.
She is survived by: her husband Jim; her daughter Shelley (Jean Gignac) of Berry Mills; her siblings, Harold Trites (Bea) of Pine Glen, John Trites of Moncton, Gary Trites (Heather) of Upper Coverdale, Mary Taylor (late Bill) of Moncton, Betty Wilson (late Tug) of Moncton, Nellie (Donnie Lutes) of Moncton and Freda Kinden of Moncton; her sisters-in-law, June Dawson of Berry Mills, Sharron Steeves (Mark) of Berry Mills and Diane (Denis Maillet); and her grandson Logan. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid regulations proof of vaccination, government ID and mask will be required while at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Steeves Mountain Cemetery, Driscoll Unit (Extra Mural), Moncton Hospice SENB or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
