She was predeceased by: her spouse Adolphe Christie of Beresford; and her parent Hector Arseneau. She is survived by: her parent Loïda Arseneau (Haché); her children, Ronald (Sylvie), Sylvain (Maryse Ferron) and Daniel (Laurie Boucher) of Bathurst; and her siblings, Louisa Doucet of Bathurst, Ida Bertin of Beresford, Yvette Arseneau Iles (Rhéaume Deveau), Madeleine Bégin, Noëlla Bégin (Henri) of Laval, Norbert, Marie-Claire and Hectorine.

Donations in memory of Marie-Anne may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society of a charity of the donors choice.
