He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Theriault and Brigitte Theriault (Hache); and his sister Yvonne. He is survived by: his wife Georgette Thériault (Cormier); and his friends, Leon, Dr. Pierre O'Brien and Dr. Jean-Pierre Arseneau.

Donations in memory of Leon may be made to the "Founding Cultures Museum" in Grande-Anse.
