He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alfred Doucet and Agnes Doucet (Montague); and his siblings, Donald (Murielle) of Beresford, Doris Lynch (late Éric Pitre) of Beresford, Della Lynch (late Bill) of Bathurst, Joseph, William (Bill), Leonard, Gilbert, Normand, Louis, Stella and Rita. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
