It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alphie Hickey (Benjamin River, New Brunswick), born in Lorne, New Brunswick, who passed away on February 11, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Hickey and Mary Jane Hickey (Carrier); his significant other Mathilda Chamberlain (Godin); and his siblings, Alfred, Edmond, William, Vincent, Thomas, Allie, Ruby, Eva, Bernice, Bertha and Hilda.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Dola Mallaley (Gary), Linda Godin, Cheryl LaPointe (Russell) and Chester Chamberlain (Valerie); his sisters, Rita Godin, Opal LaPointe and Eileen Hickey; and his pet Snowball. He is also survived by many many Nieces and Nephews.
