It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mansel Lloyd Muir of Belleisle Creek, New Brunswick, born in Sussex, New Brunswick, who passed away on January 30, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Muir and Evelyn Muir (Keirstead) of Collina; his grandchild Mansel; his wife Yvonne Alice Muir (Armstrong); his siblings, Otty Muir, George Muir (Pauline), Helen Muir, Dorothea Stewart (Douglas), Jean Ness (Ron) and Elspeth Crealock (Otis); and his siblings-in-law, Harry Quartley, Lee Alcorn, Lawrence Allen, Clifford Pearson, Winnifred Alcorn, Leona Allen, Anna Armstrong and Lena Armstrong (Stackhouse).
He is survived by: his daughter Deborah Scott (Gary) of Belleisle Creek; his grandchildren, Darren Scott, Tammy Scott-Wallace and Shawnee Bolt; his daughter Barbara Eveleigh (Charles) of Summerside, PE; his grandchildren, Dani and Evan Theriault; his children, Kimberly, Krista Eveleigh of Fredericton, Judy Hickson of Saint John and Mansel Jr. Muir (Sharon) of Belleisle Creek; his grandchildren, Amanda and Justin Muir; his son Jim Muir (Debbie) of Belleisle Creek; his grandchildren, Ryan and Collin Muir; his child Terry Muir (Bonnie) of Belleisle Creek; his grandchild Chris Muir; his son David Muir (Lori) of Belleisle Creek; his grandchildren, Jeremy Muir, Krystal Boyd, Jamie Moses, Steven and Katie Rossiter; his son Mitchell McQuinn; his grandchildren, Brennan and Alicia Farris; his child Shelly Cooke (Billy) of Belleisle Creek; his grandchildren, Jason Taylor, Nicole Keith and Wallace Muir (Nancy Dumont) of Belleisle Creek; his great grandchildren, Keith and Kelsey Muir; his grandson Grant Muir (Brenda) of Sussex; his great grandchildren, Teanna and Ally Muir; his grandson Robert Muir (Tina) of Sussex; his great grandchildren, Cody and Ashley Muir; his brother Maurice Muir (Rose) of West Haven, Connecticut; and his siblings-in-law, Bernice Pearson of Sussex, Beryl Howe of Sussex, Glen Armstrong (Eleanor) of Quispamsis and LeRoy Armstrong of Apohaqui. He is also survived by 44 great grandchildren who adored him and one great-great granddaughter.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a family visitation will be held.
