She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Beers and Dollena Beers (Roberts); her brother Ronnie; her niece Cynthia; her nephew Todd; and her grandson Abraham.

She is survived by: her husband Jerry Leger; her children, Stacey (Elijah) and Jason (Carrie); her pet Mya; her grandchildren, Beatrice, Liberty, Violet, Zeke, Zev, Novella, Wilder and Grayson; and her friend Debbie.
