He was predeceased by: his parents, James Beers and Mildred Beers (Reid); his wife Marjorie Beers (Young); his daughters, Eunice and Rhonda; and his siblings, Albert, Terry, Fred, Lewis, Kenneth, Phillip, Irene and Mary.

He is survived by: his children, Sandra Young of Minto, Brenda Beers of Cox Point, Cheryl Kennedy Cox Point, Lisa Agnew of Fredericton, Judy Beers of Sussex, Kathy Taylor (Stephen) of Minto, Allen Beers (Margot) of Turtle Creek and Kevin Beers (Pamela) of Bass River; and his brothers, Rick Beers, Gene Beers of Mass and Wayne Beers of Ford Bank. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions there will be no visitation at the funeral home.
