She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolphus Hawkins and Muriel Hawkins (Stuart); and her siblings, Terry, Perry Hawkins and Shirley Fraser.
She is survived by: her son Wade Hawkins; her significant other Danny Justason of Seeley; and her siblings, Phyllis Justason, Barbara Sloan, Carolanne Cooke (Joe), Alice Kaglar (Stanley), Allison Hawkins (Audrey) and Clarence Hawkins. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In Verna's memory, donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
