She was predeceased by: her father Herbert Leslie; and her siblings, Justin Leslie and Mary Ann Leslie. She is survived by: her husband Richard "Ricky" Wright; her mother Diana Leslie (Larson) of Blacks Harbour, NB; her close friend Ricky; her children, Nick "Herb" Leslie (Mindy Lomax) of Seeley's Cove, NB and Katelyn Leslie (Davern Greenier) of Blacks Harbour, NB; her grandchildren, Jacob, Colby, Kaylee, Hayden and Arianna; and her sisters, Marilyn Leslie (Randy Weaver) of Blacks Harbour, Kim Cook of Back Bay, NB and Carla Leslie (Marcel Boudreau) of Miramichi, NB. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In Velda's memory, donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
