It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edwin Vance Leighton (Beaver Harbour, New Brunswick), who passed away on January 31, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred "Bill" and Glenna Leighton (Hawkins); his son Michael Vance Leighton; and his sisters, Janet Leighton and Arlene Johnson (Clarence).

He is survived by: his wife Maria Leighton (Doucet); his children, Judy Schmidt (Steve), Malcolm Leighton and Joanne Leighton; his grandchildren, Jesse Mercer, Sara Mercer, Taylor Bergenstrom (Erik), Kaylee Schmidt, Matthew Leighton and Emily Llewellyn; and his siblings, Frances Spear, Linda Holmes, Audrey Garnett (Eugene), Reid Leighton, Lana Polland (Rickey) and Carson Leighton (Bonnie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held at the funeral home on February 5, 2021.

In his memory, donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society, Fredericton Hospice or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
