She was predeceased by: her father Alvin M. Spears; and her brother Dana. She is survived by: her husband James E. Richard of Beaver Harbour, NB; her mother Beverly Spears (Bouchie) of Halifax, NS; her children, Johnny Richard (Marguerite) of Timberlea, NS and Marci Lynch (Nick) of St. George, NB; her grandchildren, Madison, Jacob, Morgan Richard and Jesse Lynch; and her siblings, Mary Horne (Mike Feltmate) of Canso, NS, Michael Spears (Betty) of Manassette Lake, NS, Freddy Spears (Charlene) of Cedar, BC, Leisa Relf (Gordon) of Lethbridge, AB and Della Horne (Jimmy) of Little Dover, NS. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In her memory, donations to Charlotte County Cancer or to the Eastern Charlotte Extra Mural Program would be greatly appreciated by the family.
