He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Brian Melvin and Myrna Melvin (Jackson); and his siblings, Gary Melvin and Joanne Shillington. He is survived by: his wife Barb (Thorne); his children, Nathan Leslie Melvin of Beaver Harbour, N. B. and Haley Melvin of Pocologan, N. B.; his grandson Thorne Melvin; and his siblings, Kathy Legood (Alex) of Moncton, Dan Melvin of Moncton, Hal Melvin (Jean) of Saint John and Chris Melvin (Brenda) of Prince. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In Brian's memory, donations to the Arthritis Society or to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
