He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Hofmann of Bad Rappenau, Germany. and Johanna Litterer Hofmann of Bad Rappenau, Germany.; and his brothers, Karl (Ingrid) and Herbert (Margaret). He is survived by: his wife Patrina; and his sister Hanna Rack of Bad Rappenau, Germany.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
