He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Leonard, Alma Lavigne (Chiasson), Frederick and Agnes Lavigne (Juliano); his uncles, John Lavigne and Bernal Lavigne; and his aunt Marina Lavigne (Anna).

He is survived by: his parents, Leonard Lavigne and Carmeline Lavigne (Lavigne); his wife Lobna of New York, NY; his son Zander of Hardwood Lands, NS; his siblings, Keith (Melissa) of Bathurst, NB., Kevin of Bathurst, NB. and Tammy (Pierre) of Bathurst, NB.; his nephew Taylor; and his niece Alyssa. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
