He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucien Savoie and Alfreda Savoie (White); his son Michel; and his siblings, Claudette, Robert and Jean-Claude.

He is survived by: his children, Huguette Landry (Marcel) of Beresford, Carole Savoie (André Boisvert) of Lévis, QC and Serge of Bathurst; his grandchildren, Marc André, Stéphanie, Casandra, Marie-Eve, Alexandra, Marcia and Ryan; his great grandchildren, Kaden, Charlotte, Jacob, Jordan, Harrison and Jaden; his siblings, Jocelyne David (late Alfred) of Big River, Denise Benoit (Lucien) of Bathurst, Gisèle Ross (Paul) of Bathurst, Debbie Savoie of Bathurst, Monique Frenette (Jean Paul) of Robertville, Raymond (Fernande) of Bathurst, Gilles of Bathurst and Daniel (Lisa) of Robertville; and his half-sister Linda Harrigan of Miramichi.
