He was predeceased by: his wife Claudette Dugas (Hachey) of Ulric; his parents, Adelbert Dugas and Albina Dugas (Godin); and his brothers, Bernard and Bertrand.

He is survived by: his sons, Luc Dugas (Karine) of Bathurst and Paul Dugas (Kristal) of Nova Scotia; his grandchildren, Bowen, Jaxon and Ryan; and his siblings, Louise (Rénald) of Caraquet, Ginette (Raynald) of Orleans, Simonne of Bathurst, Mona (Jean-Marie) of Bathurst, Gérard (late Alice) of Caraquet, Robert (Lise) of Caraquet, Nicole of Tracadie-Sheila, Diane (Conrad) of Bathurst and Charles (Anne-Marie) of Windsor, Ontario..

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Cimetière Notre-Dame-Du-Rosaire.
