He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry "Hum" Hicks and Rita Hicks (Melanson); and his brothers, Stewart Hicks and Daniel Hicks. He is survived by: his siblings, Gail Milton (Bruce) of Bathurst, Jean Sullivan (Alan) of Moose Jaw, SK and Kathy Avery (late Arnold) of Salmon Arms, BC; and his friends, David MacDonald, Denis and Joanne Mallais.
