She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Lavigne Sr. and Elizabeth Melanson (Bessie). She is survived by: her children, David Allen Lavigne (Estelle Boudreau), Charles Thomas Lavigne (Linda Doucet) and Sandra Lavigne (Rothwell); her husband Aloysius Hazen Lavigne; her children, Elizabeth Gail and John; and her siblings, Paul C., Robert, Charles Jr., Albert C., Mildred, Evangeline and Gertrude Walsh. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated from the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Bathurst on Wednesday October 12th, 2022 at 2 p.m. In memory of Sylvia, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
