James Gerald Pickard Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Gerald Pickard of Bathurst, New Brunswick, born in Windsor, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 1, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Garnet Pickard and Marcella Pickard; his former wife Carolyn Lee Pickard; his son Michel Gelinas; and his siblings, Charles, Maureen Pickard and Jo-Anne Treverton (Robert).
He is survived by: his wife Nicole [Aube] Pickard; his children, James Pickard (Paula), Cheryl McLaughlin (Raymond), Tina Duguay (Peter), Jason Pickard (Genevieve) and Joel Pickard (Cindy); his grandchildren, Jesse, Treena, Kevin, Amy, Matthew, Jeremy, Catrina, Jordan and Haylee; his great grandchildren, Axtel and Aylah; his siblings, Lawrence Pickard (Rachelle), Margot Herkes (John), Mary-Lou Hansen (Jamie) and Michelle Desmarais (Kevin); his stepdaughters, Cindy Girimonte (Gabe), Sheri Pettigrew (Todd) and Jane Crouse (Curtis); his stepgrandchildren, Brittany, Courtney, Brooke, Julian, Sebastian, Roman and Audrey; and his great-step-grandchildrens, Liam and Wyatt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Church (430 St Peter Ave, Bathurst, NB E2A2Y2). Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Atlantic Host (1450 Vanier Blvd, Bathurst, NB E2A7B7).
Donations in memory of Jim may be made to the Holy Family Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
