He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanislas Blanchard and Victoria Blanchard (Christie); and his siblings, Priscilla Frenette (late Lionel) of Beresford, Wilfred, Kenneth, John, Harvey, Arnold, Lionel and Marguerite Cameron (late Richard).
He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Blanchard (Duguay); his daughters, Juanita Fortin (Alain) of Beresford and Carol Lemire (Michael) of Bathurst; his grandchildren, Jason Fortin (Marisol), Jenny McLeod (Adam) and Shawn Fortin; his great grandchildren, Elyse, Lucas Fortin, Alex and Liam MacLeod; his stepgrandsons, Jay Lemire (Jo Anne), Scott Lemire and Jeff Lemire (Dari); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Hayden, Nate Lemire, Jude and Rowan Lemire; and his siblings, Gérald Blanchard (Yvonne) of Bathurst, Stan Jr. Blanchard of Bathurst, Lorraine Arseneau (Albert) of Bathurst and Claudette Loupelle (Wayne) of Chestermere, AB..
