She was predeceased by: her husband Robert E. Ward of Bathurst; her parents, Willi Schnell and Anna Schnell; her children, Marina Ann Ritchie and Geyr Dano Ward; and her grandson Luke Ritchie.
She is survived by: her siblings, Monika Bruetsch of Switzerland and Günter Schnell of Germany. She is also survived by Eleven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
