He was predeceased by: his parents, Antoine Bérubé and Yvonne Bérubé (Thibault); and his siblings, Lumina, Ghislaine, Julienne, Relia, Rosaire, Adrien, Julien, Clarence, Régis and Jeanne-Aimée.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Bérubé (Boucher); his son Darryl of Bathurst; and his brothers, Cyril (Lorraine) of Bathurst, Rénald of Matane, QC and Pierre-Paul of Saint-René, QC..
