Cecile Young Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecile Young of Bathurst, New Brunswick, born in Robertville, New Brunswick, who passed away on February 26, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon Young of South Bathurst; her parents, David Lavigne and Clara Lavigne (Hachey); her son Vernon Blair; and her siblings, Henry, Ben, Aurele, Norman, Arthur and Corinne.

She is survived by: her daughters, Audrey (late John Hannan) of Bathurst, Sharon Young of Bathurst and Dorothy Janisse (Joe) of Winnipeg, MB.; her grandchildren, Chris, Melanie, Cynthia and Andrew; her great grandchildren, Jordan, Megan, Nova, Mitchell, Shelby, Jasiah and Emma; and her siblings, John (Cathy) of Fredericton, Edgar (Lillian) of Bathurst and Rita (late Lawrence Legacy) of Bathurst.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Cecile may be made to the Alzheimers's Society of Canada or a charity of the donor's choice.
