She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike McLean and Sadie McLean (Westerburg); and her siblings, Robert, Don and Jeanie Porter.

She is survived by: her husband Deward Wood; her children, Laura Lee Wood of Ottawa and Steven Wood of Bathurst; her granddaughters, Émilie, Maxine and Sophie; her siblings, David (late Norma) of Bathurst, Kenneth (late Marie Jeanne) of Bathurst, James of Bathurst, Joan McLean of Montreal and Sandra Bard (late Danny) of Bathurst; her stepmother Isabel McLean of Bathurst; and her sister-in-law Alice McLean. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
