She was predeceased by: her husband Louis Costello of Bathurst; her parents, Gertrude Skanes and Ralph Skanes; and her siblings, Harris, Ralph Skanes, Edna Skanes, Beryl Barker and Jean Boone.
She is survived by: her children, Keith (Elaine Farrah), Colleen, Sharon (Cyrille Doucet), Colin (Lise Groslouis) and Lynn (Brian DeCandido); and her sister Shirley Hemmens. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
