He was predeceased by: his parents, André Pitre and Evelyne Pitre (Boudreau); and his sister Camilla. He is survived by: his children, Pauline Pitre-Savoie (Rodrigue Savoie), Nicole Godin (Michel), Pierre Pitre (Rachel), Lisa Mallet (Marc) and Sonia Pitre (Réjean Legacy); his grandchildren, Danie, Marie-Claude, Maryse, Caroline, Christian, Antoni, Jean-Christophe, Chloé and Joey; his great grandchildren, Livia and Cédric; and his siblings, Fernande Boudreau (André), Roger Pitre, Alvin Pitre (Gisèle) and Noëlla Pitre (Léonard Lanteigne). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory of Alcide may be made to Arthritis Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
