He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Thibeault and Hilda Thibeault (Boucher); and his brothers, Martin, Roger and Reggie.

He is survived by: his children, Marie Thibeault (Serge Gagnon) of Fredericton, Albert Thibeault (Joanne Arsenault) of Bathurst and Eric Thibeault (Angelina Thibeault) of Fredericton; his grandson Brandon; his stepgranddaughters, Madeleine and Sophie; and his siblings, Evangeline Gionet (Victor), Manuel Thibeault and Cletus Thibeault. He is also survived by his family and friends.
