He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sr. Lavigne and Elizabeth "Bessie" Lavigne (Melanson); and his siblings, Gertrude Cameron (Lloyd) of Ottawa, ON., Paul, Robert, Charles, Mildred and Evangeline.

He is survived by: his wife Claudette Lavigne (Doucet); his daughter Darlene of Dieppe; his sister Sylvia Lavigne (late Aloysius) of Bathurst; and his siblings-in-law, Jean Caissie (Emile) and Leonard Doucet (Fern).

Donations in memory of Albert may be made to the Bathurst Association for Community Living, the Bathurst Volunteer Centre or a charity of the donor's choice.
