He was predeceased by: his parent Arlington Ruff; his son Steven Ruff; and his sister Helen Brooker. He is survived by: his parent Mary Jane Ruff (Smith); his wife Margaret; his children, Shirley Wetmore (Tom), Deloris Drier (James), Brian Ruff (Lorelei), Clifford Ruff (Joy), Arlie Ruff (Maria) and Beth Ruff; his grandchildren, Randy, Emily, Amy, Caroline, Andrew, Stephanie, Joshua, Ashley, Amber, Angela, Alex, Braeden, Chris and Winston; his great grandchildren, Madison, Baylee, Jacob, Kaitlyn, Marc, Montana, Tiberius, Liam, Kayden, Annabelle, Walker, Carly and Iona; his great great grandchild Aiden; and his brother Neil Connolly. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
