He was predeceased by: his parent Archibald Smith; his wife Jennie; and his siblings, Oliver, Kenneth and Lillian.
He is survived by: his parent Bernice Smith (Drost); his daughter Marcia Clowater (Charles); his grandchildren, Jessica Davenport (Jordan) and Christopher Clowater; his great grandchild Liam; and his sisters, Doris Smith and Jean McCarthy. He is also survived by nephews and extended family.
