He was predeceased by: his parents, John Drost and Mary Drost; his brother David; and his brother-in-law Ivan Suess. He is survived by: his wife Marg; his children, Peter Drost, Susan Drost and Michael Drost (Somer); his grandchildren, Keono, Brycen, Isaiah, Ashley, Nicholas, Cougar and Eric; his sister Wilda Suess; and his nephews, Kerry Suess and Kevin Suess.
