She was predeceased by: her parent Edouard Melanson. She is survived by: her parent Éva Melanson (LeBlanc-Beaulieu); her husband Normand; her children, Réjean Vautour and Nathalie Vautour (Benoit); her siblings, Laura Vienneau (Omer), Ola (Germaine), Créola Melanson, Raymond (Yvonne), Fernand (Roberte) and Claudette Belliveau (Claude); her grandchildren, Cole of Kaylee and Fanny; her half-brother Ronald Beaulieu (Françoise); and also, Roberta Jacob (Jean-Louis) and Edvin Léger (Lucie). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In memory of Ginette, a contribution to the Fondation CHU Dumont Foundation, oncology unit, would be appreciated.
