He was predeceased by: his wife Thelma; his siblings, Wendell Rideout (Laura), Ray Rideout, Madeline Everett (Frank), Max Rideout (Bessie), Fred Rideout (Marian), Dorothy Myatt (Joseph), Marie Tompkins (Wendell), Delores Spencer (Robert), Murray and Beverly Rideout; and his son-in-law Clayton (Kinney).
He is survived by: his daughter Lori Hamilton (Vernon) of Ashland; his grandsons, Andrew Kinney of Ashland and Lance Kinney of Coldstream; and his great grandchild Zachary Kinney. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
