He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Plant and Vera Plant (Dixon); and his siblings, Aleta Walker, Marilyn Baird, Weyman, Sheldon and Paul Plant.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Plant (Kilcollins); and his sisters, Arlene Wright of Florida and Joyce Longstaff of New Hampshire. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
