He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Doucet and Alfreda Doucet (Savoie); and his siblings, Nellie, Barbara and Rudolphe.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Doucet; his sons, Rene Doucet (Ryette) of Baie Sainte and Ryan Doucet (Chris) of Halifax, N. S.; his grandchildren, Mackenzie and Zacharie; and his siblings, Alvin Doucet (Lucine) of Baie Sainte, Marc Doucet (Rosemond) of Baie Sainte, Vina Wafer (Walter) of Montreal, Frank Doucet (Andrea) of Baie Sainte, Jeanne D'Arc Doucet of Montreal, Melvin Doucet (Mona) of Baie Sainte, Gladys Horan of Newfoundland, Pierrette O'Neil (Raymond) of Escuminac, Steve Doucet (Brigette) of Baie Sainte and Mary Doucet (Blaine) of Moncton. He is also survived by several Nieces and nephews.
