He was predeceased by: his parent Ralph Hooper; his son Robert Hooper; and his brother Paul Hooper. He is survived by: his parent Ellen Hooper (Lee); his daughter Donalda McGee (Jerry) of Back Bay; his grandchildren, Justin McGee (Ayumi) of Japan and Stacey Thompson of Fredericton; his great grandchildren, Taylor Thompson, Luke Thompson and Leon McGee; and his sisters, Norma Haughn (Calvert), Jeannie Smith, Doris Robinson of Hoyt and Malcolm Tucker of Pennfield. He is also survived by father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother.

In Leonard's memory, donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or to Charlotte County Cancer would be appreciated by the family.
